Artist Bio'sDUBble Down - Hailing from the Hakipu'u valley of Oahu Hawaii, Kaniala (Daniel Smith) forged his unique and signiture home grown island countryside vocal style while writing songs on the ukulele with life long friend and percussionist Dayton Pule from Hau'ula Hawaii. In 2001 they hooked up with rythm section Ruben Garcia (bass) Arian Valenzuela (drums) and Bill Keys (keys & vocals) creating a sound that is grounded in roots reggae with a fresh and modern vibe. Their music is taylor made for the soul, heaven sent and always rock steady. Its funky, positive vibes and totaly irie. Casper Lomayesva Antedote was born in the year 2004 by emcee Mesi Goodness, formerly of Dislocated Styles (Roadrunner Records), and drummer Dan Val Dan. Disillusioned with the cookie cutter quality of Hip-Hop music, they decided to create a group that embraced positivity with organic rhythms fusing together elements of Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, and R & B. To help in their quest, they sought out multi-instrumentalists Travis Von Cartier and Kellin Whitmer, two brothers with both classical and jazz backgrounds, who consequently had already formed a creative partnership producing beats. To aid Val Dan in his rhythmic endeavors, percussionist EB Magic was located bringing his unique percussive abilities to this already formidable might. The five musicians immediately composed a handful of songs, then proceeded to recording and independently releasing their first EP "Volume One:The Neato Project". The EP was met with critical acclaim establishing their name and presence among the local underground Hip-Hop scene in Phoenix. Kindread Alden Powers is a guitarist, songwriter and producer delivering positive music to the people of Arizona. Listening to Alden's CD "1,000 is never enough" takes you on a journey through a persons life, the highs and lows, and the good and bad. "This album was therapy for me. I had to spend some time by myself and work out some issues. That's basically what the recording is about. Its very personal." With an album as eclectic 1,000 is Never Enough, it may be difficult to categorize Alden as an artist, but that doesnt seem to bother him. "One of the things I dont like about music today is this element of sameness. If you turn on a radio station, all the songs sound the same. The same artist may as well have written them. I'm trying to get away from that with my music. I want to keep the listener guessing. Each song is a surprise. You never know whats going to happen next. With every song I have a different story to tell, so I used different sounds and styles to tell those stories. If you like adventure, then listen to my CD." Stray Dog Society - There is a breed of artist not concerned with the promotion of soda water consumption....obsessed, instead, with the transporting of dreams and visions through a medium.
